We are committed to fostering an environment that honors and celebrates the rich diversity of our community. We want to take time to recognize the December holidays and cultural observances that reflect the values and histories of different groups. Some examples include: Bodhi day (December 8), Hanukkah (December 14-22, Christmas (December 25), Kwanzaa (December 26-January 1), Winter Solstice (December 21). Check out our "Cool Down Igloo" in the clinic with fidgets, lights, and a weighted blanket if you need a rest and recharge. Our OTs like to make spaces for kids to access sensory tools to help them regulate in a fun, rewarding, and playful way.
