A big thank you to Pat Kelly for all the work, thought, and care she pours into this space each day, and to Elson Plourde for the rockers that make the gazebo even more inviting. It is a place our residents truly enjoy. ☀️

Join us in celebrating these students and the work they have been doing each week at Pelican Landing alongside Coach Tony!

Through the WBLE program, these young individuals come to our community for onsite work training, giving them the chance to build real job skills in a hands-on setting. It helps build confidence, independence, and a sense of purpose, while showing students what they are capable of in a workplace where they are welcomed and valued. Hosting a luncheon for the students, their families, teachers, loved ones, school board members, and Coach Tony made it even more special.

We are grateful to be part of this program and proud to call these students part of the Pelican Landing family. 💙

An antique mall trip is a pretty fun way to spend the day, especially when so many pieces feel like a blast from the past! 🕰️

At Grant Antique Mall, Pelican Landing residents enjoyed seeing things they remembered, sharing stories, and spotting items that took them right back. Some browsed, some asked questions, and some were happy to do a little shopping of their own!

Join us in celebrating Katherine Thiele, our April Servant Leader of the Month at Pelican Landing! 🌟

“I chose Helpful as my core value because I have always been available to assist whoever is in need, and I love spending time with our seniors,” Katherine shared.

As her director says, “Kat is always smiling and available to help with anything. She always picks up shifts when we ask her to, and she shows the residents so much love!”

A surprise supply of donated flowers brought a to our week, giving Pelican Landing residents a chance to enjoy something unexpected!

With blooms to spare, we seized the chance to be creative and made beautiful arrangements. We also made sure to create arrangements for those who could not attend, and delivering them room to room made this small moment feel especially thoughtful. It was such a lovely example of the kind of intentional, day-brightening touches that mean so much in a Watercrest community. 🌸

The carnival came to town, and Pelican Landing residents had plenty to enjoy! 🎪🍿

The whole day was filled with classic carnival favorites: cotton candy and popcorn to corn dogs and curly fries. Plus, Bubbles the Clown added more fun with bubble art, balloon animals, AND juggling, while residents enjoyed games like ring toss, balloon darts, and duck matching around each corner.

We wrapped up with a stop at "Coffee with a Cop" in Sebastian! 🚓

Pelican Landing residents were happy to show up and show their support for the officers they know and appreciate. Seeing them greeted by some of their favorite members of law enforcement made the morning even better. A big thank you to the Sebastian Police Department COPE Unit and the Indian River County Sheriff's Office for the work you do and for the connection you continue to build in this community. 💙

Happy Birthday to our long-time resident and very good friend, Gladys! 🎉

We celebrated our girl the best way: with an ice cream social and lots of love. She’s one of those people who makes the room brighter, and for her recent birthday, it was all about her.
