Sebastopol Paw Spa is an upscale self-serve and full-service dog wash and boutique located in the heart of Sebastopol. We are a woman-owned, community-rooted business — voted Best of the North Bay!
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist / Self-Serve & Boutique Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves dogs, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, can multitask efficiently, and is comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities:
🐶 Greet customers and make them (and their pups!) feel welcome
📅 Schedule grooming appointments and manage phone/email inquiries promptly and professionally
🛁 Oversee the self-serve dog wash area, assisting customers and ensuring each station is cleaned and prepped after every use
🛍️ Maintain and organize the retail/boutique area
🌿 Keep the shop clean, organized, and inviting at all times
💬 Engage with customers in an enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful manner
💪 Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and cleaning throughout the day
What We’re Looking For:
A true dog lover with a friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Comfortable working independently and staying organized in a fast-paced setting
Tech-savvy — and if you’re familiar with social media, that’s a big plus!
Reliable, punctual, and available 30–35 hours per week (at least 1 weekend day required)
