Hey everyone!
Happy New Year! Who knows what 2025 will bring on a global scale—it’s been wild, and it only seems to be getting wilder.
On a personal level, though, I’m feeling so excited about this year. There are so many milestones to celebrate:

• 🎓 My kiddo is graduating high school! She’s an incredible human being, and I couldn’t be more excited to see where her next chapter takes her.

• 🎉 I’m turning 50! Honestly, I never imagined 50 would feel this way. It feels good. I know myself, I love myself, and I’m in love with life—wrinkles and all.

• 🌿 I’m co-guiding a year-long ecotherapy program! Spending time in the wilderness with an amazing group of women and a team of guides I truly admire? Yes, please!

In these times of contradictions and uncertainty, I’ve come to realize that understanding, accepting, and allowing my light to shine—no matter the state of the world—is essential. It’s how I stay grounded and present.

I’d love for you to join me on this journey!

Hi,
There’s a lot I’m sitting with since the war started. I have much to say. I have much I’m scared to say, still wrapping my head around how to say what I want to say.

Today is Halloween, a holiday i hardly relate to. But I am living in the us and I want to be a part of this place and I love the joy and depth of this holiday. Yet, I am grieving right now, I’m in deep sadness and shock. I’m in deep confusion and anger. So many feelings. So I figured, how can I be in both? Halloween without abandoning myself.

So my costume is called: NOT WAR.

and it’s called not war so it can hold many things. Not war is a process. It’s open to interpretation. It’s a personal journey. Not war is a spiritual journey and a choice.

My costume is a last minute costume which I will share once I wear it. In the meantime, I plan to give out chocolate with little notes, that all together represent some of what not war means to me.

I am so glad I chose to engage and not disengage. Not war is stepping up and showing up. Today, I am showing up in the best way I can. One of the ways I’m showing up for this is helping myself heal. Making this costume has been healing for me. Today I am not war.
