β˜€ It governs willpower, well-being and achievement; hence, in yogic teaching, it is believed to radiate positive energy to the lower chakras as well as feelings of love up to the heart chakra.

🌺 Less than 15 minutes, the ongoing beginning yoga practitioner can reset a cranky lower back, or else take an ounce of prevention to maintain spinal flexibility and core strengtht. πŸ’ͺ

🌺 Dynamic repetitive movements with the breath including cat pose, baby cobra, and piston variation alternate with rests in downward dog and child’s pose, with cooling soothing twists and cross legged forward bends relieving any residual hip tension, which so often is associated with low back pain. πŸ’’

🐸 Strengthen your lower body physically and energetically with this key basic (and fun!) exercise from the Kundalini yoga tradition. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ
🐸 This elevates squats to a whole new level, with the feet turned out, heels touching and off the floor, hips and head alternating raising and lowering, while fingertips l remain on the floor for the duration.
🐸A modification is also presented for those with knee problems and limitations where hands can be placed on a chair and the squat can be as minimized as needed.
