My Spiritual Journey
A little about Suzanne's Spiritual Journey. I began my 1st meditation practice in 1977, in 1978 spent 2 months in Israel getting advanced techniques based on the Sutras of Patangali, in 1979 spent 2 months meditating with Ayurvedic Pundants in Holland and in 1981/82 finished a 10 month training to became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation. Attended a meditation gathering of 7000 in 1985 when Maharishi visited Fairfield, Iowa and had the honor to be received by him in a small group of about 50 people. Over about 10 years I attended many meditation courses. I consider these my foundational years. The 90's were more focused on developing my vocal and musical skills, studying Classical and Jazz Voice and working as a professional singer and musician in Vienna, Austria. I now realize this time has given me a great tool to offer to the Celestial Realms as a vocal medium. I have joined Sacred Site Journeys to Egypt, toning in the temples, to England meditating in Stonehenge/Crop Circles and other sacred places there, and traveling with a group to Sacred Sites on the islands and mainland of Scotland. Did Earth Healing work with a small group in New Zealand and Europe. Lost my voice for about 3 months in 2007 due to a paralyzed vocal cord which was a huge catalyst to my next journey of the voice. I began studying sound healing with Ton Kenyon in 2008 and 2 early students of his Zacciah Blackburn who has his own center in Vermont and a Dinah Arosa Markler who teaches Sound Healing in Germany. As I regained my voice in the fall of 2007 I began having spontaneous channeling experiences while toning and decided to study Channeling, attending workshops in developing my Sound Healing skills, psychic awareness, intuition/opening of the 3rd eye and spiritual knowledge in general. Since returning to the states in 2010, after a year long journey around the world, by myself and to myself, I was guided to Sebastopol where I have regularly practiced Soul Motion, studied Tian Gong where I received activation of Celestial speaking and singing and am actively attending The Stargate Experience Academy and Tom Kenyon workshops. I have been giving private Sound Baths in my home as well as voice training. My last year in Austria I worked with a Gong player and a Tibetan Bowl player giving weekly Sound Baths together with my crystal bowls and voice. I am now thrilled to be working regularly in collaboration with Cassiopeia Skyfish whom I met in 2016 as we participated together in a Full Moon Sound Ceremony event. We joined forces on March 26th 2018 to begin offer weekly Mystical Meditative Shamanic and Celestial Sound Baths. It has been a great couple of years offering two Sound Baths a week, one in Sebastopol and one in Monte Rio, California! We were invited to do 3 Sound Journeys at IONS Earthrise Retreat Center in Petaluma in the fall of 2018 and I was invited to do the Sound for 2 Workshops in Sausolito and for a Santa Rosa Hospital Self Care Day. At the beginning of 2019 I enjoyed collaborating with local Sound Healers as Cassiopeia deepened her practice in Brazil! I continue to work as a sound shaman for occasional weekend retreats, underscoring intuitively the entire workshop with sound.
We have now stepped into to the doorway of 2020 and have about 175 Sound Baths behind us which have given us the great opportunity to develop and hone our practice in the field of Sound as a healing medium. We continue to add to our host of Musical Instrument Allies to give an ever expanding field of possibilities in the exploration and sharing of Vibrational Frequencies. We invite additional guest at our special events to further and expand the healing experience of all present! I am grateful to be on this path and to offer my voice in this way!💞
