Just so people know how crazy it is... my brother lived on Lambert Street. Part of it is completely destroyed as you can see the fire line, and his house was two doors from the complete destruction. Lucky-to a certain extent-but it’s hard to feel lucky when your neighbors your businesses and your city had been wiped out. Yes he still has a home he should feel fortunate. These will be very complicated days for all our residents to move through.

It's good to take a time out when in a heated conflict with someone, but it is more important to say a time when you can readdress the issue. Time outs often are power plays when they are open ended, leaving the other person hanging. Always take a time out when you need, but ALWAYS state when you will be available to resume the conversation, so a repair can happen.
