Hello R.O.M Family,

Today I bring tidings of news and operational changes coming in the final quarter of 2025.

As a few of you already know, in March an amazing opportunity found it's way to my doorstep in the form of the UCSF Hospital Based Massage Therapy Fellowship. The HBMT Fellowship is an educational opportunity to train at UCSF to provide massage to their patients, specifically in the Pediatric, Oncology, Neurology, and Palliative departments. I jumped on the application process as soon as I could, and after a couple months of waiting, I have received official word of acceptance! Starting in September I will be traveling to San Francisco twice-a-week to participate in the HBMT program for the following year.

That being said there will be some operational shifts to my business starting in September. Starting on September 9th, Redwood Orthopedic Massage will no longer be open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Please don't fret about remembering anything now, as September approaches I will send out more information about any changes that will be happening.

And know this, once this Fellowship begins, I will continue to provide the quality and care to which you are accustomed (better actually, with all the additional training).

2 days ago Redwood orthopedic Massage celebrated its one year anniversary, and it totally slipped my mind. This past year has been an incredible journey and adventure in re-establishing my practice in Sonoma county, growing and providing service. I hope that you all can see the love and care I put into my job and I hope to do it for many more years to come and to serve all of you guys as best I can. So here's to making your number two bigger and better!

Please check this out. I'm a huge proponent of having higher standards that can benefit everybody. There's no need to keep this profession, but if we add more layers that people can achieve then I think we can serve greater portions of the population.
