We’re excited to invite our residents and their loved ones to join us for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner Party!

Enjoy a delicious holiday meal featuring roasted turkey with cornbread dressing, honey glazed ham, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, seasoned greens, assorted pies, and refreshing drinks.

🎟️ Please note: You must have a ticket from the facility to attend the luncheon. Tickets are limited to two per resident. Stop by the front desk or see Laura in the Business Office to sign up and receive your ticket.

A day of honor, gratitude, and remembrance. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today, we gathered together to celebrate our brave heroes at FEC - the ones who stood tall and strong for their country when it called, the ones who gave their time, dedication, and even a piece of themselves so that we could enjoy the freedom we are blessed with today.

We pinned badges with prideπŸ…, shared cake and cupcakes, warm company, and presented them with a piece of a retired American flag. β€œπ‘‡β„Žπ‘–π‘  π‘“π‘™π‘Žπ‘” β„Žπ‘Žπ‘  𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 π‘‘π‘Žπ‘‘π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘‘ π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘‘π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘› π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘›π‘œ π‘™π‘œπ‘›π‘”π‘’π‘Ÿ 𝑓𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑠, 𝑏𝑒𝑑 𝑀𝑒 π‘€π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘¦π‘œπ‘’ π‘‘π‘œ π‘˜π‘›π‘œπ‘€, 𝑀𝑒 π‘›π‘’π‘£π‘’π‘Ÿ π‘“π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘”π‘œπ‘‘ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ.”

Happy Friday ❀️! May we all stay warm this weekend!πŸ§₯

Today our residents took a nice morning stroll around the building and enjoyed the new scenery while getting a good stretch out of our legs! β˜€οΈπŸŒΏ

After resting from that, we enjoyed some stencil fun! We traced and painted 🎨 bright colored images while enjoying some classical music! 🎢

Then our residents participated in a Finger Tree! What fun is finger painting if there’s not a little mess, right? Each resident pick their very own leaf color and planted it onto the tree branch πŸͺΎ. A great way to bring everyone together and celebrate the holidays 🧑.

Today our residents enjoyed a cool refreshing treat with Angel from Royal Care and Ashley from Centerwell! They brought all of our seasonal favorites like Pumpkin and Apple bites with a nice iced Pumpkin coffee to go on the side! Our residents enjoyed their coffees and pastries while chatting with the wonderful baristas! πŸ’™πŸ’›

We love to treat our residents and hope to have more unbe-leaf-able times at Family Extended Care! A huge thank you to Angel and Ashley for a wonderful event!

Join us for Family Extended Care’s Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday, November 21st at 12pm! Our menu features all your favorites - roasted turkey, sweet potato casserole, assorted pies, and so much more!

🎟️ To reserve your seat and receive a ticket, attendees must sign up on the list with front desk or with Laura in the Business Office. Tickets are limited to 2 per resident.

πŸ’šπŸ–€ Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Be-…. Shhhh!! Don’t say it three times! πŸ«’πŸ’šπŸ–€

Today at our showtastic 🎠πŸͺ²Beetlejuice CarnivalπŸͺ²πŸŽ  our residents surely had a strange and unusual time! With mystery meat sandwiches πŸ₯ͺ, sweet red filled pastries, and some Vampire donuts that may have left behind a little too much evidence πŸ‘€. We enjoyed some live music and even got down on the floor to boo-gie with our staff! Let the games begin… tomorrow we find out who’s the ghost with the most at our fun game course! 🎯🎰

We want to give a special thanks to Beth Lang with Concierge Home Health and Shannon from Compassionate Care Hospice for always helping to give our residents the best memories possible 🩷🀍.
