Happy President’s Day! Dr. G here.

Today is a good reminder of the values that help a community thrive. Integrity. Service. Responsibility. Showing up and doing your best.

Those are principles I’ve always tried to carry into my work and into the way we care for families in our offices.

Leadership doesn’t always mean standing behind a podium. Sometimes it looks like parents guiding their kids. Teachers investing in students. Coaches encouraging their teams. Neighbors helping neighbors.

I’m grateful to serve in a community full of people who lead in quiet, meaningful ways every day!

Hey friends! It’s the G Team here.

We thought it was time for a fun !

This was Dr. G in July 1995, when he was first starting out.

Since then, the team has grown, the locations of his offices have expanded and changed, technology has improved, and many other things have changed too!

But a few things have stayed the same.

Dr. Guelff's awesome, signature hair (iykyk) & his commitment to exceptional care for his patients.

His compassion, joy, attention to detail, personal interest in each patient & their journey to confidence, as well as his passion for orthodontics and providing the best service & experience to each person who visits his office, has rightfully earned the reputation of the tri-county's most beloved Orthodontist & staff, for over 30 years.

We might be biased as his team, but (we’re also right 😜) a visit at Dr. G's office, isn't just a vist to your orthodontist(even though he is the BEST one). It's a visit with a friend. A supporter. A cheerleader.

We’ve had such an incredible response to our soft opening this week. So many kind messages, new faces, and a lot of excitement about this next chapter. It truly means the world to me! I’ve been blown away by your support!

Today was a REALLY good day.

We officially opened the doors to our new Sebring office in our soft opening (keep an eye out for our GRAND OPENING!) and it was one of those moments that makes you stop and take it all in.

Standing out front, seeing the sign from the old parking lot, and walking into this new building brought back a lot of memories.

Like the first time I walked into the old office, and it also brought a lot of excitement and anticipation for what’s ahead.

I truly feel that our best years are ahead of us and I CANNOT wait to share it with all of you!

I’m incredibly grateful for our team, our patients, and the families who’ve trusted us through every chapter.

Today was just the beginning of a really exciting one.

As we get ready to turn the page and move into our new Sebring office, I’ve been spending some time looking back.

This building has held a lot of memories. First visits. Nervous smiles. Big milestones. Kids who grew up. Families who’ve been with us for years, even generations.

It’s hard to say goodbye to a place that’s been part of so many stories, BUT it also feels good knowing we’re carrying all of that with us into what comes next.

Big news, friends! Dr. G here.

We’re moving into our new Sebring office on February 10th, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this with you 🎉

Our new location is at 607 US Highway 27 South, and the best part?

It’s right behind our current office, using the same turn-in you already know.

Just a new space, a little (or a LOT 👀 ) more room, and the same team and care you’re used to.

This move is about continuing to serve our community well, creating a comfortable space for our patients, and making sure we’re set up for many more years of smiles ahead.

Thank you to our Sebring families for trusting us all these years. We can’t wait to welcome you into the new office very soon!!

Speech is one thing that can feel so confusing. Because the way that a child says their favorite stuffy's name might just be a core memory for the whole family, or it might actually mean that they are having a hard time forming sounds correctly, due to an alignment issue.

So I get these questions in my office a lot. "Dr. G what about this speech issue?"

Sometimes it sounds like a lisp.
Sometimes words come out a little slurred.
Sometimes kids mumble or struggle with certain sounds.

And a lot of the time, parents aren’t sure if it’s something to worry about or something their child will grow out of.

Teeth and jaw alignment play a bigger role in speech than most people realize. When the tongue doesn’t have the space or positioning it needs, certain sounds can be harder to form clearly. That can be frustrating for kids and concerning for parents.

What matters most to me is how that feels. Feeling confident speaking up. Feeling understood. Feeling comfortable in conversations at school, with friends, and at home.

The good news is that many speech concerns related to alignment can be helped with the right orthodontic plan and the right timing. And the best first step is simply taking a look and keeping an eye on things.

That's why the American Association of Orthodontists recommends all kids be seen by age 7, and that's why I offer FREE monitoring for your kiddos!

Parenting is tough. Orthodontics doesn't haven't to be. If you’ve noticed speech struggles and have questions about whether your child may need orthodontic care, come talk to me. Consultations are free and there’s no pressure to decide anything right away.

Just a conversation to help you feel informed and confident. It takes a village and Guelff Orthodontics is honored to be part of yours.

This year at Guelff Orthodontics, we’re celebrating 50 years of caring for smiles in our community, and with Dr. G seeing his shadow, we know we're in for another amazing 50 years!

We have BIG things happening this year and we're so excited to share them with you. Keep an eye out for the first BIG announcement, coming this week 👀

My team and I do everything we can to make orthodontic treatment as smooth and straightforward as possible.

But one thing I always like to remind patients and parents is that this is a team effort.

Keeping appointments, following instructions, taking care of braces or aligners, and wearing retainers after treatment all play a big role in getting the best results.

When we work together, things tend to go a whole lot smoother. And the end result is a smile you can feel good about for years to come.
