Today was a remarkable day. The residents were thrilled to participate in crockpot preparation today. We proceeded to the activity room to prepare peach cobbler, with each resident actively contributing to the process. While awaiting the cobbler's completion, we engaged in crafting Mexican paper dolls, which yielded impressive results. In the afternoon, we dedicated time to bingo. Following the delightful experience of savoring our peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, which was met with amazement and enthusiasm, we initiated the bingo game, resulting in three winners. Subsequently, we relocated to the living room for a game of Old Maid, where Irene was humorously designated as the 'old maid.' The enjoyment derived from this game was evident, and the residents' affection for it was palpable. The day concluded with a pleasant conversation and a comedy movie.

The residents participated in a morning puzzle game prior to the Silverwings entertainment, thoroughly enjoying the musical performance. We extend our gratitude to Silverwings for providing entertainment. In the afternoon, activities included playing Domino's, The Price is Right from 1950, and a game of Trouble.

We started our day with our morning routine chair exercise. It was great to join the ladies doing their morning workout. After completing the exercise section, we moved on to a fun activity called “hola ho bouncing balloon.” We passed around a ring and tossed a balloon, a beach ball and color ball in to the bucket. It was a delightful morning filled with laughter and excitement.

In the afternoon, we played bingo. We had some empanadas and juice to enjoy while we played. We were thrilled to have five winners in bingo today. Ruby won four times! To end our day on a high note, we watched the TV show “I Love Lucy.”

The day commenced with a creative activity in the activity room, where participants crafted floral designs using forks. The residents exhibited significant engagement in creating their flowers, and subsequently, we partook in a tea and mini cake social. Later, a karaoke session was facilitated by Lora and friends, providing entertainment for all. Mike participated in the karaoke session, and the residents thoroughly appreciated the musical performance. The day concluded with a cinematic presentation accompanied by treats.
