Welcome, Matthew S. Irwin, DO, FAAOS!

Your orthopedic health deserves expert, compassionate care 💙. We’re excited to welcome Matthew S. Irwin, DO, FAAOS, to AdventHealth Medical Group Orthopedics at Sun 'n Lake, offering whole-person support for patients ages 5 and older.

Dr. Irwin is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with extensive training, including two master's degrees — one in biomedical sciences from Barry University and another in medical education from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine — as well as a medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, a general surgery internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, and an orthopedic surgery residency at Millcreek Community Hospital. With more than two decades of leadership experience — including proud service in the U.S. Navy as a flight surgeon 🇺🇸 — he brings a deep commitment to excellence and patient-centered care.

Dr. Irwin is dedicated to our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, helping patients restore mobility, strength, and confidence through personalized orthopedic care. He values continuous learning and whole-person wellness, bringing both skill and compassion to every patient he serves 🌟.
