For 2 weeks I will be away enjoying time with my family, creating beautiful memories and yes still practicing my mindfulness, yoga and meditation!

Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness isnt just on the mat. Its the walk with my son by the water, playing Marval/DC car trivia with my grandson, its our family dinner being present, listening, the stretches in my bed before my feet hit the ground, taking a deep breath while feeling the sun on my face.
And feeling the happy tears in my eyes as my grandson graduates from 8th grade! 🥹💕

Wishing you all a beautiful day! And will share more from our amazing trip and a place that will be my forever home.😘

✨️What I love about yoga, is that you can practice in a chair, in your bed and or on a mat. ✨️Somedays we just dont feel like rolling out our mat. Or we have a busy day at our desk or in bed starting our day or ending our day.
✨️Somedays its 10 min, 30 min or an hour. However you choose to show up for yourself is perfectly fine...give yourself a hug, a high five, breathe and stretch!!

The best days are spent with my amazing guests and students. But first coffee....💕☕️

This week our topic was pupose....
Such a lovely topic to dive into. Listening and feeling present through teaching yoga, breathing, movement, sound, mindfulness, meditation and art has given me the purpose to serve others in this beautiful way.

We often ask whats next? For me, As I had time to reflect and create my story board, I mindfully and slowly placed my story together. Visually my story was coming to life, I was breathing life into my story.

This is a sneak peak of what the week was like. As I helped others visually see their story come to life, mine was too. It was birthed on a napkin aboard southwest airlines , in mid air, coming back home.

Seeing my guests and students visually see their story come alive, reclaim their purpose with clarity and heart, to move, breathe and show up each day, is truly a gift and the best part of my career and this beautiful new ride called life. 💕🙏

So I invite you to create a story board using words, photos, clippings, art , sketches or whatever you want to use...and create mindfully with your heart, vision, the highs, the lows and in between. Have fun, laugh, cry and share or it can only be for you! Much love, She 😘😘

A beautiful week of learning to play sound bowls and sound healing, recording a new chair yoga on my you tube, lunch and a cappuccino at the Grove House Collective and leading a restorative yoga and meditation with the sounds of my steel tongue drum.
So thankful to learn and share these gifts of healing. So thankful for time in our community 💕🙏

Mindfulness Practices are a wonderful time to be fully present. Possibly unplug, go for a walk in nature, breathe some fresh air and feel the warmth on your skin💕🙏

Step outside, think outside...no box required. The only requirement is that you accept the invitation to do something that brings you joy🌴🌿✨️

✨️The wonderful practice of yoga and mobility is that it can be done in a chair!! I have included one with light weights. Of course no weight is needed. Or you can use water bottles or canned food.

✨️Adding light resistance through the week is beneficial for our muscles to support our bones. Weights help with osteoporosis and osteopenia by applied stress to bones which stimulate bone forming cells to increase bone mineral density and slow bone loss.

✨️Applying light weights or light resistance bands helps with improved posture, balance and reduces fracture risks. These practices are all sustainable.

✨️Consistency and slow mindful movements 2 or 3 days a week combined with gentle yoga, mobility, pilates, your walk or gardening is wonderful!

✨️Avoid excessive bending, backbending, and extreme twisting to reduce spinal fractures, and ALWAYS consult your medical team.

✨️After being diagnosed with high risk osteoporosis, along with my continued education , Iam able to share the safety and wonderful benefits of feeling our bodies become capable, joyful, to move with ease and strength. Have a beautiful day! - She xo😘
