Some studies suggest caffeine could slow the recovery from loud-noise injuries, while others hint that coffee drinkers may experience less tinnitus, possibly thanks to coffee’s antioxidants. And yes, there’s also emerging evidence that caffeine might improve postural stability due to its stimulating effects on attention.
Bottom line: the science isn’t settled yet. But if you’re dealing with hearing, tinnitus, or balance concerns, it’s worth talking with an audiologist about how your diet (or that daily cup of joe) might play a role.
