This is our “why.” Why we always say yes to rescuing horses when we can. Why we say yes to working with other incredible organizations, like FarmHouse Fresh Animal Sanctuary and Singing Whale Rescue & Rehabilitation LLC, to take in and care for horses like Theo, who was dumped at a killpen with his buddy Picasso last year. After the successful rescue and rehab efforts of these two organizations, Theo was transported to Healing Hearts to find his forever home. His new dad, Mike, a fixture in the animal welfare community, connected immediately with this little guy. After just a few short weeks of being adopted, Mike knew Theo had a special gift of love and healing. He has made numerous therapy trips to nursing homes, sharing his remarkable loving energy along the way. These beautiful creatures deserve so much more than being dumped at auction, so much more than being abandoned, starved, neglected, and abused. Because of this community, they have found safety, healing, and a new life. Thank you all for letting our “why” be a part of your lives. Together, we are Healing Hearts ❤️
