Hudson Regional Health leadership appreciates County Executive Craig Guy and Assemblymembers John Allen and Jessica Ramirez strong support for Heights University Hospital:

“Heights University Hospital serves as a critical, lifesaving healthcare institution in our district, and it must receive the financial support it needs from the Department of Health, without question. At a time when the Trump administration is slashing benefits at the federal level for vulnerable populations to Medicaid, SNAP benefits, and more, we cannot, and must not turn our back on this facility that serves these very residents. We are calling on the State to do its part and assist with funding for Heights University Hospital, and allow the legislature to allocate additional resources when we are back in session.”

🕊️ Statement from CEO and President, Dr. Nizar Kifaieh 🕊️

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the tragic passing of one of our esteemed employees at Bayonne University Hospital, Dr. Adam A. Paduszynski. A beloved physician, he was immensely respected by his patients and co-workers alike, and touched countless lives through his compassionate and dedicated service.
On behalf of the Hudson Regional Health community, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May his legacy live on in the Bayonne community for years to come.”

On this World Stroke Day, Hudson Regional Health was proud to host its World Stroke Day event alongside the Alder Aphasia group, dedicated to raising awareness about stroke prevention, recognizing early warning signs, and highlighting the importance of recovery support.

A stroke can impact speech, movement, and memory. It may also cause conditions such as aphasia, which affects a person’s ability to communicate clearly and understand language.

As a DNV Stroke Certified health system, we’re committed to providing the highest level of care — from rapid response to comprehensive recovery support. Remember to BE FAST — recognizing the signs early and acting quickly can save lives and make a real difference in the journey to recovery. 💙 🧠

The Hudson Regional Health Mobile Health Unit is officially on the move! 💙🚐

Our first community event was a great success — providing vaccines and blood pressure screenings to residents outside of Hoboken City Hall. This exciting milestone allows us to bring health screenings and  services directly to the communities we serve.

Stay tuned as we continue to visit more communities across Hudson County and beyond!
