Billy Wayne Waldrop, age 83, of Fyffe, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 19, 2025, under the care of Enhabit Hospice with the loving assistance of Sheere Dean and Jackie Fields. Special thanks to Carmen Waldrop for her continuous care and love for the last 7 months. She was truly a blessing to him and our family.

He was born on February 28, 1942, in Manchester, Tennessee, to the late J.M. and Mary Lucile Waldrop. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Mary Helen Waldrop; his brother, Charles Waldrop; and his sisters, Ruth Thomas and Catherine Escue.

Mr. Waldrop is survived by his children: Mark Waldrop (Melissa), Jeffery Waldrop, and Rebekah Martin (Phillip). He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Amy Paffumi (Dave), Billy Waldrop, April Allen (Craig), Jared Waldrop, Aaron Waldrop, Tiffany Casey (Kyle), and Sarah Dupree (Cody). His legacy continues through his fourteen great-grandchildren: Cade Stephenson, Emma Stephenson, Ella Stephenson, Breanna Waldrop, Greyden Waldrop, Lizzy Martin, Alice Martin, Konner Casey, Willa Wilson, Claire Casey, Grady Waldrop, Weston Waldrop, Noah Waldrop, and Liam Waldrop.

For 38 years, Mr. Waldrop faithfully served his Lord and Savior as pastor of Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. Together with his wife, he poured his heart and soul into this ministry, touching countless lives through his dedication, compassion, and unwavering faith. Now, after a life of service, he has joined Mary Helen in their heavenly reward.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the faithful few who stood by them throughout this journey. May God bless each and every one of you for your love, support, and prayers.

Pat Presley, age 80, of Section, passed away peacefully on August 16th with her loving daughter by her side. She was born on November 7th, 1944, to Hobb and Allie Culpepper. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She married Tony Presley in 1965, and together they shared 40 beautiful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, faith, and family.

She was known for her gentle spirit, kind heart, strong faith, and sweet, loving personality. She loved attending church and especially caring for her grandchildren and supporting them in all of their endeavors. Above all, her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Maderra (Russell) Lacey; grandchildren, Brett Shankles, Colby (Savannah) Shankles, Jaren (Kendal) Lacey; great-grandchildren, Reece Shankles, Lilah Lacey, Iva Lacey, Lincoln Lacey; siblings, Jimmy (Shirley) Culpepper; close niece and nephew, Brian Jones, and Brittany Haynes; a host of nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Tracy Yerby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Presley; parents, Hobb and Allie Culpepper; siblings, J.T. Culpepper, Ludell Long, Ray Culpepper, Billy Jack Culpepper, and Hassil Culpepper.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the funeral following directly after at 4:00 PM at Davistown Baptist Church to celebrate her life.

Her love, faith, and kindness will remain in the hearts of all who knew her, and her memory will be treasured forever.
