E.W. Thompson Health & Rehab Center performs quarterly checks on all staff, as required by regulation. If an employee is found to be listed be on the EDL (employee disqualification list) they would be terminated or we could apply for a Good Cause Waiver. We do not respond to rumor. However, this morning it was brought to our attention that an employee had been referred to the Family Care Safety Registry. That employee has been terminated.

🐶 🐾 Waggin Wednesday 🐾 🐶
We have been waiting to post our sweet visit with Miss Vax last week until she received the all clear. Everyone meet Vax. She is not quite 6 months old collie mix. She walked well on the leash, done well around the other dogs, and was SO sweet with the residents. She has such a great sense of calm about her and was gentle. She deserves a great home with all the snuggles and belly rubs someone can offer. If you’re interested in Vax or any other animal please contact the Sedalia Animal Shelter.

🐕 🐾 Waggin’ Wednesday 🐾 🐕
Good afternoon friends and family. Today Carmen came to meet new friends here at the facility. Carmen was such a sweet girl. She has been at the shelter since the 20th of February 😔, although we know she is receiving excellent care there but she would love to have a new home. She is a little over 4 years old and is a Weimaraner/Boxer mix. Her adoption fee is $65 and she will come fixed, vaccinated, and chipped which is a steal of a deal. If you are interested in sweet Carmen please reach out to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
