How to get stronger & build muscle training from home with kettlebells 👇🏼
To give you context...
We’ve been ripping kettlebell only workouts the last 6 years.
Why?
✔️This style of training makes us feel good, move better & gives us confidence to do what we want when we want.
It’s one of those, “If it aint broke don’t fix it” situations.
And we know this approach to fitness isn’t for everyone...
But if you like simple, sustainable and effective then here’s how we’ve been able to continuously make progress and grow in our movement practice!
👉🏼 Our training program runs in 8 week cycles.
💥 Week 1 our team tests a couple exercises
💥 We get after it with three ~45min workouts/week
💥 On Week 8 we retest to assess the gains
💥 We “deload” on Week 5 and after Week 8 testing and then we dive into a new training cycle.
This cycle of stress & recovery works really well for us...
🔑 It keeps you consistent enough to make progress without consuming your entire life.
Which is how we like to approach fitness.
During this training session we retested our Double Chest Press!
✅ Gab leveled up from 8 to 15 reps with dbl 20kg
✅ Bij pushed from 5 to 9 reps with dbl 40kg
While these last 8 weeks were far from perfect we made progress by following the progressive plan laid out for us…
