Dr. Serge Wright
Owner of Sedona Eye Care, Dr. Wright has served as an optometrist in Sedona since 1973. A valued partner to Health First Foundation, he lent his support to the creation and funding of the Sedona Wildcat Extended Day Program for elementary school students. Dr. Wright has served five times as president of the Sedona Oak Creek Canyon Lions Club and received the Melvin Jones Humanitarian award from Lions International. He recently completed a two-year term as president of the Sedona 30, a charitable association focused on community improvement, and is an honorary member of the Sedona Bell Rock Kiwanis club.

Sedona Eye Care has an open position for ophthalmic technician.

As an ophthalmic technician:
You will be responsible for preparing the patient for their exam with the doctor.
Gather patient information
~ medical history and chief complaint and noting findings in our EHR
Preform preliminary tests, advanced medical testing and measurements.
~ visual acuity, auto-refraction, I-care tomometry, checking pupils and confrontational fields
~ instilling eye drops for dilation
~ Optos, OCT's, fudus photos and Visual Fields
All while providing an exceptional patient experience.
~ Educating patients on testing, ophthalmic conditions and treatment plans.

What we are looking for:
Someone who loves the fast paced environment.
Willing to learn many new things in the eye care profession.
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Flexible schedule Monday – Saturday
We will train the right person and as always experience is a plus.
