You are the deep medicine that this world so desperately needs

There is an art to discipline, and for most of us there has been quite a bit of confusion with regards to practicing it. More and more I feel the art of discipline is governed by our alignment with the forces of nature, with our very essence. I feel the reason people fail and struggle is simply because they are applying their life force against the very energies that are guiding them towards their ultimate destiny. It is really a matter of dropping into one’s belly, into the heartbeat of creation and aligning with the pulse of what is already naturally flowing. I call this an art because it takes time to discern this deeper movement, this evolutionary force that needs no discipline and yet moves with an unstoppable power. It is this power that is your soul and it is designed to serve the collective flowering of a better and more harmonious existence. It is through this deeper listening and deeper feeling that discipline becomes mastery

Lately I have been contemplating the concept of destiny. What enables an individual to manifest a great destiny, one that truly serves his fellow human?

Within the Taoist tradition there is a concept of awareness named “Wu Wei”,
that can be loosely translated as “action without action”.
In the western world we would say “in the world but not of the world”.

So within the framework of an individual’s destiny what are the contributing factors that manifest an epic life? What actions and attitudes govern an individual’s ability to achieve greatness within ones lifetime?

Upon deep contemplation of this question I have been lead through different levels of consciousness with regards to my mental, emotional and physical bodies.

I was shown that within each one of us lives a seed, the blueprints for something truly magnificent. The growth of this seed is solely dependent upon how deeply we nourish our relationship to it, how deeply and honestly we are willing to connect with it.

Some of us are afraid of it, some of us resist it, some of us analyze it.
And the brave ones among us embrace and allow it.

This is dependent upon our personal and ancestral karma.
It is the nature of our emotional, and psychological patterns that determine our relationship to our destiny

This seed will sprout naturally and magnificently the more we simply relax into our natural state of being.

And for most of us this includes having to wade through, embrace and let go of our deepest fears.

Within our modern culture there is such a drive to produce, to manifest, and to acquire wealth and power. It is based on the cult of the individual. It is based in separation.

I feel that to truly manifest an epic life, one that is deeply fulfilling, rewarding, and courageous, we must be willing to turn our focus inwards. We must be willing to let go of focusing our attention on what everyone else is “Doing”

We must be willing to stop distracting ourselves and
take a pause each and every day to listen deeply within our being.

Allow your awareness and breath to sink into your center,
Align with your heart.
Lie upon the earth,
Align with the stars,
Peer into the sun,
and receive the moon.

Contemplate “wu wei” and simply allow.
Allow the natural forces inherent within you to flow naturally in the world.
Let go of any notion of limitation.
Let the magical forces embedded within your DNA awaken.
Give yourself over to the darkness, and be willing to die for something greater than yourself.

Feel your way deep into your dream
The dream you have always known to be to true
The dream that will transform our world
