Healing happens when we slow down enough to listen to our bodies and intuitions.

What I’ve learned helping hundreds of women heal naturally:
✨ Healing is not one-size-fits-all.

Two women can experience the same symptoms for completely different reasons! It is absolutely essential to listen to each individual patient and learn where her unique body is asking for balance and support.

At Beth Claxton Functional Medicine, we take the time to truly understand your unique story and uncover the root causes beneath your symptoms, so we can create a plan according to YOUR body’s powerful natural wisdom 🌸

You’re doing all the right things, yet your energy still feels off… sound familiar?

Sometimes it’s not the obvious stressors that truly drain you, but rather the quiet ones.

The blood sugar spikes and dips.
The constant notifications.
The environments that don’t feel supportive.

When you notice and begin to tend to these–whether it’s nourishing your body, moving with intention, setting boundaries, and creating calm around you–the return of your energy won’t be far behind!

Always remember that small shifts create big changes. Which of these stressors is showing up most noticeably in your life right now?

💚 Save this post as a resource you can go to next time your energy is feeling “off.”

Is it normal to feel more anxious, tired, or just off in your 40s?

The truth: Yes, but you can do something about it!

Hormone changes during perimenopause can affect everything–your mood, energy, sleep, and even your confidence — but that doesn’t mean you just have to “deal with it.”

With the right support, knowledge, and dedicated action, your 40s can feel balanced, strong, and steady. You have a lot more agency than you think!

💬 Drop your “Is it normal to feel ___?” question below, and I might answer it next!🌿

Balance is the essence of true health.

Sometimes, health looks like adding things to our lives– supplements, workouts, one-on-one support–and sometimes it looks like taking things away–such as the to-do lists, distractions, and constant connectivity of daily life.

My recent camping trip in Zion was certainly the latter, and restored my body and mind more than a to-do list ever has!

What would a restorative time of “taking away” look like for you right now?

Thank you for joining me today! Mindful moments like this can truly turn your whole day around.

Specifically, shoulder stretches release the extra tension we are carrying, improve posture, increase range of motion, and open up our breathing. Besides that, don’t they just feel wonderful?

Share this today to remind your people to slow down and reap all the benefits of these mindful stretches.

Have you lost who you used to be? As a part of a customized hormone regimen, testosterone in safe dosages is included in our practice. Follow up testing is always performed to confirm accuracy. BethClaxtonMD.com

There is no F.D.A.-approved testosterone product for women. Insurance won’t cover it. Many doctors won’t prescribe it. It’s become a cultural phenomenon.

Your body’s changes are normal, but suffering through them is not. Thankfully, when we are equipped with the right knowledge and support, we can still experience incredible health during perimenopause and menopause!

Perimenopause and menopause are two distinct phases in a woman’s hormonal journey — but they’re often misunderstood or lumped together.
In this post, we’re breaking down:

🌿 How your hormones behave in each phase
🌿 What symptoms are most common
🌿 How functional medicine empowers you and helps you find balance through both

Save this one for reference, and remember: You don’t have to just “get through” this season. You can thrive in it.

Let’s work together! Book a discovery call via my website today. 🌿

Yoga in the stunning Zion National Park was an incredibly grounding experience.
As I moved, breathed, and took in the beauty of my surroundings, I was reminded of a simple truth: nature isn’t something “out there.” It’s something we are made of.

The same elements that shape the earth — water, minerals, air, light — flow through us in every moment. To spend time in nature isn’t to meet a stranger; it’s to remember who we are!

When we reconnect to the natural world, we also reconnect to our own innate wisdom — the body’s ability to restore, rebalance, and heal. 🌿

Be sure to make some time to breathe in that fresh outdoor air today. And remember: You're a crucial part of this big, amazing natural world! 💚
