OR …. There’s an empathy deficit operating - the inability to comprehend how their actions might feel to them should you be the actor. In other cases, neurodivergence can render a person confused about the import of their actions tied to your reactions/feelings, an abstract concept they cannot grasp.

OR they don’t respect you indeed. It’s all about them
