May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

This last September, I lost a friend to su***de. Not a day goes by without us missing him, and thinking of him. He brought beauty, joy, humor and happiness to so many lives.
Today was his birthday, and it was hard.

We don’t always know the trenches that someone is in, in their mind.
Small things like just a text checking in, a smile to a stranger, an extra hug for a loved one, a random compliment… These things have have such a huge impact for someone that is struggling with their worthiness.

If you, or someone you know is struggling with mental health please reach out to someone. Whether it be friends, family, law enforcement, a business that feels safe, etc. YOU ARE NOT ALONE

I’ve been struggling to drink enough water, lately. I’m not sure why, because I usually drink a ton. But the last several months have been a struggle.
I started putting Liquid IV in it, but a full packet is too sweet for me.
But I found the perfect solution! I brew a cup (ok, mason jar) of black or green tea, and then put in about a third of a packet of the Liquid IV.
This feels like such a soothing drink for me, and it works for getting me more hydrated.
