Our Cancer Center walls have been transformed thanks to an incredible gift from the Jansen Art Center in Lynden: 18 stunning pieces by Bellingham's Mark Bergsma - photographic artist. Mark, along with the art center's Terry Redden and wife Evelyn, personally delivered and helped install the artwork, creating a more welcoming, comforting space for patients, families and staff. "United General Cancer Center has been blessed with generosity," said Radiation Oncology Manager Neal Wychock, who selected the pieces. “Gifts like artwork remind our patients and their loved ones that they are supported not only clinically, but with the compassion and care from their community as well.”
