Tomorrow is the day! We're reminding everyone to safely dispose of expired and unused medications at a National Drug Take Back Day event. Visit Anacortes PD, Burlington Public Safety Building, or Swinomish PD between 10 am and 2 pm this Saturday, April 25.

Why take back your meds?
💊Promptly removing leftover prescriptions from your home helps prevent misuse by a friend, family member, or other home visitor and reduces the risk of deadly overdose.
👥Nearly half of people misusing pain relievers, including prescription opioids, get them from a friend or family member.
🌱Safe disposal not only helps prevent misuse and overdose deaths, it’s also important for the health of our environment.
