Maria Torres Ramirez passed March 10th at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband Jose Ramirez and many children and grandchildren other relatives and friends. A Prayer Service will be held Monday the 16th of March from 5 to 6pm preceded by a visitation from 4 to 5pm at Heritage Oaks Mortuary in San Antonio.

Shirley Hall passed peacefully at the age of 85. She is survived by daughters; Cynthia Cubit & Jo Nell Hastings and sons; Willie James Hall, Jr and Patrick Hall. Funeral Services for Shirley Hall will be held Monday at 11AM from the Refuge Church of our Lord in Seguin; a viewing will precede the funeral from 9:30 to 11AM at the church.

Antionette Chandler passed from this life, December 29, 2025 at the age of 56. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8th, 11 am at Refuge Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 1034 S. Pine Street in San Antonio, TX. She will lie in state prior from 10 to 11 am. Antionette is survived by her father, George Chandler, Sr.; mother, Ruby Chandler; brothers; Raymond & George Chandler, Jr., and a host of relatives and friends.

Gary Lynn Lewis, passed December 13th at the age of 66. Wake services are scheduled for 6-8pm Friday December 19th at Galatians COGIC in Seguin. Funeral services will be held, Saturday December 20th, 10 am at Galatians. Gary is survived by Delanie Lewis, his wife of 45 years; sons, Gary (Rita), Cedrick (Karen), Derrick (Stephanie); five granchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Reverend Lynn McGarity will be held Saturday the 25th of October at New St. James Baptist Church in Seguin, with interment following at Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday the 24th from 4 to 6pm at Eunice & Lee Mortuary chapel. Reverend McGarity is survived by one sister, Esther Parker and daughter, Cheryl Cunningham, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Willie Charles Bonds passed Wednesday, August 27th at the age of 81. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Matthews Bonds; children, Carline Rogers, Darlene King, Willie J. Rochester Zachary Whittington passed from this life, July 3, 2025 at his home in Cuero, Texas at the age of 69. He is survived by his brother Elder Douglas Whittington, sister, Kelly Lewis, along with other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Charles Priestly passed away, May 19th at the age of 78. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, May 30th, 11AM at Greater Refuge Church in Seguin. He will lie in state at Greater Refuge from 9am to 11am with interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery Monday, June 2nd at 1:45 pm. He is survived by children Sheniqua Priestly & Charles Priestly, Jr and sister's Josephine Dolford & Erma Jean Gallimore.
