Water comes in many forms for our herd: in the trough, from the hose, or naturally in the pond.

We are blessed and thankful for the rains, the replenishment of water, and the ability to provide fresh water for our herd!

We’re feeling Hopeful and with luck this week!

We share healing, hope, and support through equine assisted services and animal assisted therapy with the community. Our clients enjoy sharing the sense of relief, feelings of hope, and peaceful environment when they come to Hopeful Acres.

Today is National nap day. So, treat yourself and take a nap!

Did you know that horses can sleep standing up?

They often sleep standing up which makes it hard to know exactly when they’re sleeping. When they feel comfortable and safe in their environment they lay down to rest and often take turns doing so. Johnny, June, Sparkie, and Cali seem to take more leisurely naps than the rest of our herd as they have been caught lying around.
