Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Seguin

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Seguin We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

We wish a bright and meaningful Hanukkah to all who celebrate! ✨🕎 As the Festival of Lights begins, we honor the story of resilience, hope, and faith that Hanukkah represents.

Our facilities are enriched by the diverse traditions and beliefs of all who enter our doors—and we remain committed to care rooted in respect, compassion, and inclusion.

May the glow of the menorah bring warmth, joy, and peace to everyone celebrating while reminding us that light can endure even in the darkest moments. ✨💙

November is National Hospice & Palliative Care Month. This month, we honor the compassionate professionals who provide comfort, guidance, and dignity for individuals facing serious illness and end-of-life care. Their support not only eases physical symptoms — it brings peace, connection, and reassurance to residents and their loved ones. 🕊️

At every stage of life, each person deserves to be treated with respect, surrounded by comfort, and supported in the ways that matter most. We are grateful to collaborate with hospice and palliative care partners who help ensure every resident’s final chapters are filled with meaning and care. 💙

During World Diabetes Month, we spotlight the crucial role of diabetes care in the skilled nursing setting. Managing diabetes is about more than numbers—it's about personalized care plans, daily support, and empowering each individual with the tools they need to maintain their health.

If you haven't been diagnosed, it's important to watch for possible signs:
🔺 Urinating often
🔺 Feeling very thirsty
🔺 Feeling very hungry—even though you're eating
🔺 Extreme fatigue
🔺 Blurry vision
🔺 Cuts or bruises that are slow to heal
🔺 Unintended weight loss—even though you're eating more
🔺 Tingling, pain, or numbness in the hands or feet

We are grateful to care for and learn from the Veterans within our communities — their stories, resilience, and leadership enrich the lives of everyone around them.

To all who have served: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and the legacy you carry forward for future generations.
