Celebrating a Powerful Milestone in Recovery Support

Congratulations to the 13 individuals who completed Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) and Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CFRS) training at St. Luke’s Penn Foundation.

Peer support is a vital part of recovery care. By sharing lived experience, CRS and CFRS team members help others feel understood, supported and empowered on their recovery journeys.

We can’t wait to see the meaningful impact this group will make.

Why is it so hard to stop scrolling … even when we want to?

We’ve all been there, lost in an endless feed on one social media platform or another, wondering where the last 20 minutes went.

It turns out it’s not a lack of discipline. It’s psychology. In our latest blog article, Dr. Einat DeLong, licensed clinical psychologist at St. Luke’s Penn Foundation, breaks down the psychology behind scrolling and shares practical strategies to help you take back control of your time and attention.

If you’ve ever caught yourself saying, “just one more swipe,” this one’s for you.

Hope, Healing, and Community at Wellspring Clubhouse

Did you know that St. Luke’s Penn Foundation is home to Wellspring Clubhouse, a voluntary psychosocial rehabilitation program where members take the lead in running daily activities and shaping the community?

It’s all about connection, purpose, and supporting one another on the journey to mental wellness. This community-based program is one of the unique services we offer to individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness—and an important part of our full continuum of care that helps people stay in their community to live, work, and play.

Recently, team members from Inpatient Services, Outreach, and Victory for Veterans visited the Clubhouse and saw firsthand how member-driven workspaces, collaborative projects, and supportive relationships empower individuals every day.

Do you know someone who could benefit from joining Wellspring Clubhouse?

He decided he needed help.

Ken took a brave step forward and reached out to St. Luke’s Penn Foundation. Today, he’s living with a renewed sense of hope and optimism. Ken’s journey reminds us that even in life’s hardest moments, resilience and healing are possible. We’re honored to walk alongside patients like Ken — people who show courage, gratitude and heart through every challenge.
