Grief takes time, and that's okay. Take time to care for yourself through it as you would care for other people going through the same situation.

Focus on allowing yourself to rest, feeding your body, and getting outside for fresh air and movement. Healing takes time. Be patient with yourself.

Attending a funeral for someone of a different faith may seem a bit intimidating, but the most important aspect is the support you are showing to those who are grieving. A couple of things to keep in mind that may set your mind at ease:

1. What to wear - Consider the culture or faith of the family when choosing what to wear to the service.
2. Participation - Remember that while you are showing support by attending, you are not obligated to participate in any religious practices that you aren't familiar or comfortable with.

It's most important to remember that your support and compassion are appreciated by those who are grieving.
