Our team is incredibly proud of CU2RE student and research trainee Javier Jurado Vélez, who recently presented research at the American Heart Association EPI | Lifestyle Scientific Sessions. 🥳

Javier partnered with the UAB Selma Family Medicine Clinic on research to identify social risk factors among rural, underserved patients with uncontrolled hypertension.

The conference celebrated remarkable science at the forefront of public health, lifestyle medicine, and global cardiovascular health.
