The Joshua House Joshua House is a place to help men who have recently completed an inpatient treatment program, and/

Joshua House is a transitional home located in Selma, Alabama for individuals who have completed at least 90 days of inpatient treatment and are seeking to re-enter the workforce and society. We provide a furnished bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, dining room and a community living room. Joshua House offers varying services in partnership with The Dallas County Family Resource Center to help each individual develop their life skills, occupational opportunities and character as they may relate to success in society. Some of our services include:
1) Mandatory individual and group counseling focusing on topics such as anger management, family systems and substance abuse
2) Providing a structured and accountable living environment
3) Job preparation
4) Encouraging spiritual growth through mentoring, and meaningful relationships

It’s that time of year again. Time to enjoy that good fall weather while playing golf with your friends. What makes it even better is that it is for a good cause. All of the proceeds from our golf tournament will be used in our efforts to help families and loved ones who are battling with addiction and other hurts, habits, and hang ups by helping them find the treatment, counseling, or coaching they need as well as transporting them to said location free of charge. The proceeds will also be used for our half way house, Joshua House, by continuing to provide men who have completed a inpatient treatment program or being released from a correctional facility a safe place to learn and grow as well as transition into their community in a powerful way by personal development and job readiness.
