Hurricane Helene has caused unprescidented damage in our local community. In the wake of the wind and water, many families have been displaced permanently or temporarily, including many of our beloved patients and our office staff . As we try to resume normal activities this week, we would like to ask for your patience. We anticipate that there may be longer wait times in our offices, as we work with reduced staff and rescheduling 2-3 days of patient visits.

During these visits, our doctors and ARNPs will be focusing on the top reason you are in the office that day, and likely be a little more brief than we usually are. We ask that you kindly give us a few days to return prescription refills and non-emergent phone calls. Our emergency call service is available for true, legitimate, emergencies should they arise.
We look forward to getting back to our “new normal”, and appreciate your understanding as APW serves its beloved community as it has for 20 years.

Please join APW in wishing our beloved sonographer, Cynde, a well deserved retirement after 17 years with us!
For so many patients, Cynde has been a bright spot in their journey into parenthood. Remember that first glimpse of your baby in black and white? Or catching an amazing profile view on sono where your whole family agreed he/she DID have your nose after all? Or providing comfort during a difficult health issue, and held your hand during the exam ?

That was Cynde….Kind, compassionate, gentle.

We wish her nothing but the best during retirement, and know that she will be missed by the thousands and thousands of lives she touched, and especially by the team at A Place for Women.

Please join us in thanking her for her years of service to women. Happy retirement, Cynde, from all of us.
