Find out more about Stacy…

Who are/were the influential women in your life and why? My pastor due to her passion for helping other women and sharing the truth about who we are in Christ.

If you could give young girls one piece of advice, what would it be? Find your passion and don’t let anyone detour you from achieving it no matter how hard it might be to achieve.

What’s a mantra, quote, or Biblical verse you live by? I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Philippians 4:13

Get to know more about Dr. ABG!

Who are/were the influential women in your life and why? My Grandma will always be my role model and most influential to me because of her sacrifices and utmost belief in my capabilities. She prepared me to become the woman I am today. I am inspired by the women in my family who always rise above and are anchored by faith. I am inspired by women in my field (hi Dr. Russell-😊), my fellow counselors; we are so brilliant and always cheer each other on as we navigate this wonderful maze.

If you could give young girls one piece of advice, what would it be? Believe in yourself, even if no one else does, because you belong and you matter, you have purpose and a story.

What’s a mantra, quote, or Biblical verse you live by? I have so many...lol. One of my fav bible verses is Phil. 4:6 "Don't worry about anything, pray about everything, tell God your needs and don't forget to thank Him for His answers..." One of my fav quotes: "You are a child of the universe, you are no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here"- Desiderata by Max Ehrmann.

Get to know more about Marcela…

Who are/were the influential women in your life and why?
To the stay-at-home mothers, working mothers, and women pursuing careers without children: I admire all of you for the dedication, resilience, and heart you put into your lives and work each and every day. What I've learned from you is that every path requires strength and courage. You all inspire me to bring that same care and perseverance into my own life and work with others.

If you could give young girls one piece of advice, what would it be?
One piece of advice I would give to younger girls is to always be themselves, no matter what society says, and to focus on their own growth, passions, and values.

What’s a mantra, quote, or Biblical verse you live by?
The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of God stands forever, Isaiah 40:8

Learn more about Jolene…

Who are/were the influential women in your life and why?
My maternal grandmother loved me in a way not many people have. She understood me and appreciated my eccentricities. My mom provided a solid biblical foundation for my life, guiding me to memorize scripture as soon as I could talk. Those verses still reverberate in my mind when I need them most. My first therapist listened to me, encouraged me, and helped me start down the road to healing. My counseling supervisor has done the same, as well as providing me with the tools I need to guide my own clients more successfully.

If you could give young girls one piece of advice, what would it be?
Learn to recognize the patterns in your life early. Find a nonjudgemental person who can help you see what you might have been overlooking. Understand that mistakes are not failures; instead, mistakes are more like data points that show us where we can learn and grow.

What’s a mantra, quote, or Biblical verse you live by?
"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
