We just want to say THANK YOU to our amazing crews, their families, and this incredible community! 🚑❤️

Last week was fast and furious in the best way possible! We kicked things off with a BBQ for our EMS staff and families, followed by recognizing some of our crews and community members involved in life-saving efforts earlier in the week. It was a special reminder of why we do what we do every single day.

Throughout the week, our community absolutely showered us with love and support. We truly cannot thank everyone enough!

Special thank you to:

Memorial Health Care Center for the delicious breakfast

City Hall for the “whoot whoot” snack cart

Siddons-Martin Emergency Group for the AMAZING cookies (the Chief and Assistant Chief may or may not have eaten more than their fair share 😂)

To top it all off… after a VERY long wait, we FINALLY took possession of a NEW ambulance! 🚑 This truck was ordered back in July of 2023, so seeing it arrive during EMS Week made the celebration even sweeter.

We are beyond blessed to serve this amazing community and are incredibly thankful for the continued support you show our crews year-round.

To kick off EMS Week, Seminole EMS had the honor of recognizing several individuals tonight at City Council with the Lifesaver Award — one of the highest honors we can present.

These awards recognized the incredible teamwork between bystanders, law enforcement, and EMS personnel during a cardiac arrest response. Family members immediately began CPR prior to EMS arrival, providing critical lifesaving care in those first moments. Deputy Christopher Parrish then took over CPR efforts until EMS crews arrived on scene and continued advanced lifesaving interventions.

Because of the actions, teamwork, and dedication of everyone involved, this individual is alive and well today.

Cardiac arrest survival takes a community response, and tonight we were proud to recognize those who stepped up without hesitation when seconds mattered most.

We would also like to recognize and thank those who were unable to attend tonight’s presentation but still played an important role in this successful outcome.

Congratulations to all recipients, and thank you for your commitment to serving others and making a difference in our community. ❤️🚑

Today we honor the incredible women of Seminole EMS! 💛🖤

Fun fact — until recently, Seminole EMS has been one of the few EMS services primarily staffed by female first responders. These amazing women have spent countless hours away from their own families while serving and caring for our community.

Whether responding to emergencies in the middle of the night, comforting patients on their worst days, or balancing motherhood and a demanding career in EMS — they continue to show strength, compassion, and dedication every single day.

Today, we celebrate and thank all the mothers who sacrifice so much for their communities and families. We are truly blessed to have such incredible women serving Seminole and Gaines County.

Today we would like to recognize one of our own!👏

Kristin LeBlanc consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty. In EMS, we have the privilege of serving people during some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments in their lives. Kristin approaches every situation with compassion, dignity, and a genuine desire to help.

She is known for going the extra mile—connecting individuals with community resources and helping meet basic needs whenever she can. Her kindness and commitment do not go unnoticed, and they make a lasting impact on those we serve.
