Dear Friends,
As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for your continued support and trust in my massage therapy services. Your well-being is my priority, and it's been an honor to be part of your wellness routine.

Starting January 1st, there will be an increase in my rates to ensure I can keep providing the highest quality care:
Chair Massage: $40
Half-Hour Table Massage: $45
Hour Table Massage: $90
Hour and a Half Table Massage: $120

In addition, a $3 surcharge will be applied to payments made via credit card or Venmo. This change helps cover processing fees allows for offering flexible payment options.

I also want to remind everyone of my cancellation policy:
Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 50% of the service fee.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.

I completely understand if you need to cancel due to illness—please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

I also want to take a moment to acknowledge that I am a much better massage therapist than I am a businessperson. Some of you may have fallen through the cracks when trying to reach me, and for that, I sincerely apologize. If you’ve been waiting to hear back from me or if we missed connecting, I kindly ask that you reach out again. I value each of you and will do my best to respond promptly.

Please understand that I’m currently booked out six weeks in advance, so it may take some time before I can schedule you. Unfortunately, this also means I’m still unable to accept new clients at this time. However, if I’ve had the pleasure of working with you in private practice over the past nine years and you’d like to schedule an appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to reconnect (text is best)!

Hey everyone! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your continued support and trust in my massage practice. As I enter my 20th year of providing massage, I am reminded of how blessed I am to have such incredible clients like you.

I have some important updates to share with you regarding my practice. I want to kindly remind everyone about my 24-hour cancellation policy. While I have been understanding in the past and not quick to enforce it, I have come to the realization that I need to make some changes. Moving forward, I will be implementing the 24-hour cancellation policy more consistently. I kindly remind you to notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid a cancellation charge of $35. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated as this policy helps me maintain a sustainable practice and ensures that I can continue providing you with the highest quality of care.

Over the years, my practice has grown exponentially, and I am truly grateful for the abundance of clients who value my services. Unfortunately, repetitive use issues have started to creep in, and I want to make sure that I'm able to continue providing exceptional service to my existing clients for years to come. With that being said, I have made the difficult decision to put a pause on accepting new clients at this time in order to provide the best possible service to my existing clients and maintain the integrity of my practice.

If you are a past client, regardless of whether you have seen me once, several years ago, I am more than happy to schedule a session for you. Your support and loyalty mean the world to me, and I want to ensure that I continue to serve you to the best of my abilities. Additionally, any outstanding gift certificates, regardless of whether they were purchased by a new or existing client, will be honored.

Of course, things can change in the future, so I may open up to new clients again at some point. But for now, my focus is on providing exceptional service to my existing clients and ensuring that I can continue to do so for many years to come.

Please understand that these decisions are not made lightly, but they are necessary to uphold the quality and longevity of my massage career. I appreciate your understanding and support in these changes.

Thank you for making it a wonderful year to be committed to your health and self care. I am forever grateful to each of you for allowing my small business' success. Many know that I was able to build my home studio and started there in September. The space is amazing and has renewed my massage spirit. It is truly a joy.

With that being said, and global inflation going bonkers, January 1, 2023 Kneaded Uniquely rates will have a slight increase. I hope you will continue on our journey together.

This is a heads up for all my scheduled clients. I am switching appointment software due to a price increase that makes Square no longer an option. I am in the process of moving all appointments to Squarespace. Your reminders and confirmations will look different. Also, you might receive new confirmations via email/text as I get the schedule updated in the new software. Thanks for your understanding.

Y'all, it's been a bit. Life at Kneaded Uniquely is chugging along. I wanted to put out there that I am no longer requiring masks when coming in for your appointment. I will continue to be in a mask though. I have gotten very comfortable in it and secretly I love being able to sip iced coffee all day with no worries about mouth breathing on my clients. 😁

My clients treat me so well and I am incredibly thankful. You did all that I asked without question in order to create a safe environment. Summer is generally a busy time for massage and I see no change in that. My schedule is booked out a bit. If you are looking to use a gift certificate or just want to get in and treat yourself, I would encourage you to shoot a message my way.

I wish you all happiness, joy, and the ability to go and find some adventure in this (almost, kinda) post COVID world.

Guys, I want to keep my business open and thriving. Based on the newly released memo from the Nemaha County, COVID is moving heavily all through the county. Many of my clients have been observing COVID precautions in public and have been trying hard to do their part and I am so thankful for that.

So with that being said, I would really, REALLY prefer that if you are someone who doesn't feel obligated to help reduce the spread of this virus in all parts of your life (i.e. wearing masks, not attending gatherings with large groups of people, social distancing) that you reschedule for a future session. I do not say that with pleasure. I say it as the next step in being able to feel safe, not just in my workspace, but also so that I am providing a safe space for those who have entrusted me with their care.

I have been back to work for 4 months and things have been moving on well. Unfortunately, Nemaha County has seen quite an uptick in positives and has moved into the community spread category. I do not intend to close the shop again (but will if needed), as I have figured out how to navigate things, however, I do feel the need to implement a few new requests.

First, if you are attending events that are outside of your "container" and have more than 10 people present, I ask you to please cancel your appointment for 10 days. I am happy to reschedule anyone.

Second, as much as I enjoy the conversations with my clients, I am going to request that once we have established your care for the session that any dialogue that is not treatment-related be kept to an absolute minimum.

I am so happy being back to work and feeling the good feels that this work allows. Thank you to all that have joined me in getting back "into the swing of things".

Just updating to let everyone know that masks are still required to receive a massage at Kneaded Uniquely. I value all of my clients so please understand I am not trying to limit your freedom. I have figured out a way to allow for the removal of your mask when face down in the cradle. A pillowcase is used to wrap the face cradle so it can contain wet droplets. I will continue to be open and productive for those needing/desiring treatment but will be maintaining 30-minute sessions at this time. Thanks to all for your understanding! You've certainly kept me busy and I am grateful for the physical and emotional relief I have been able to provide.
