Happy National Activity Professionals Week! It is the perfect time to celebrate our Marquee Moments Director Donnie! 🙌🤩
Donnie began her career at our Fort Walton Beach, FL community, and has been with us at Seneca since 2011. Donnie created the Belvedere Blue Bells during her time in Florida, later winning the “Caring For the Carolinas” award here in Seneca with her Blue Bell group. She is phenomenal with the residents, families, and staff. Donnie brings talent, joy, creativity, and years of experience to Belvedere.
A Marquee Moments Director does so much more than "plan events"—they create moments of joy, foster deep connections, and ensure our residents live life to the fullest every single day. 🎨🎶
At Belvedere Commons, this role involves a dedicated cycle of care and creativity:
• Plan: Curating monthly calendars, birthday bashes, "field trips," and cognitive building activities with heart. ✍️🗓️🚌🧠
• Do: Gathering every supply, coordinating the music, and personally setting the stage for magic to happen. 🎶🎤🪄
• Engage: Bringing families together, capturing memories, and creating a true sense of belonging. 🧑🧑🧒🧒 📸
• Repeat: Listening, learning, and constantly finding new ways to make the next month even better than the last. 👂📖
