So I have had to load this 3 times. Here are the written instructions for the Triangle Pose Warm Up Exercise. Stand in a staggered stance, left foot in front and pointing forward. Lift your arms straight out to the side, rotate your torso, reach up with the right hand and down with the left hand toward your ankle and toes. Maintain a straight spine, and straight line with the hands and shoulders. Hold the position for 30 seconds and return to the start position. Repeat on the opposite side.

Hip 90/90 . Sit on the floor or ground. Put you left thigh out in front of you with the knee bent 90 degrees and the outside of your left thoigh and leg flat on the ground. Then bend right knee 90 degrees and point the right thigh and knee directly to your right. Place your left hand on the ground to side for support and stability. You want to feel the tension in the right hip and not the lower back. Move through the stretch sequence in the video and then switch the legs with right now in front. These are warm-ups, no flipping from left to right, slow easy movements.

Warm-up Weds. Dorsiflexion of the Ankle. As we develope the muscles and joints in the feet and ankles we will move up the kinetic chain and focus on increasing the range and control in the hips. When we dont have proper movement in the feet and ankles it requires a greater compenstion from other joints, knees and hips to get into postions. We hope you will check in with us on Weds over the next 10 weeks to learn an new warm-up exercise that you can use on the course, on in your sport, and even daily life.

In the words of the Cherokee, Nutiyva (Balanced) Ganodu (Life) Ka (Wellness), is a holistic approach to developing the “way of the right relationship” within the body, mind, soul and spirit.
In our society today we are overwhelmed by external stressors. We feed our minds digital technologies from the time we wake to the time that we go to sleep. We rush from one activity to another causing physical and mental fatigue. Our diets are unhealthy leading to over 50% of Americans being consider obese. We have developed a society that would rather take a “pill” to control a symptom instead of investing in changing habits and lifestyles. We work to earn a dollar or strike it rich, knowing that we are unfilled in our careers. We call all of this the “norm” and we walk around in this state of complacency being afraid to seek a more meaningful life.
And yes, I was one of those who experienced life as described above. Then later in life I decided that corporate america was not where I want to be any longer. I knew that being afraid to change would cost me my life. 23 years of industrial work had taken its toll on my body physical and mental, so I had to bold cause I knew that life was more than I was experiencing. I had always been under chiropractic care, it was a constant in my life and it had kept me healthy enough to work a challenging occupation for many years. Chiropractic had enhanced an internal barometer, I was seldom sick with colds, flu, stomach bugs, and it had kept me functioning at a physically demand job and sports as well my body had developed a “sense” of when I required an adjustment. Having this intuitive sense about chiropractic and natural ways of healing I applied to Sherman College of Chiropractic in the Summer of 2013.
During my course of study at Sherman I was introduced to Network Spinal. Network Spinal is a Chiropractic technique that uses gentle, light touches along the spine to cue the brain into becoming more aware of the spinal column. Our Spinal column houses our nervous system which is the part of the human operating system. Network Spinal helps to develop a coherence within the nervous system so that all of the body and mind functions more efficiently. Most of us develop a defense posture in our lives (this is caused by multiple factors--we call them toxins, traumas, and thoughts) and Network Spinal works on multiple levels to enhance the nervous system in developing new strategies to over come life’s tension that we have stored up in our bodies as bound energy. We all have an internal storehouse of energy that can be tapped into to promote wellness in our lives. You can learn more about Network Spinal in the blog section of our website.
I know personally how Network Spinal can change lives cause I am walking proof. By removing the bound energy and defense patterns from within, I have been able to reconnect to the “way of the right relationship” with my body, mind, soul and spirit. My passion is to help others discover a holistic and natural approach to wellness from within, so that they can adapt to a world that is rapidly changing everyday, and just maybe others are able to find their passion for life and walk in harmony with all things, as well uncover the four directions of Mother Earth.
