🗣️ May is Speech Therapy Month, and we are so excited to tell you all about our team for our Employee Spotlight this month!

First up is our friend Jamie! Jamie has been a member of our Life Care Family since 2017! Some of Jamie's favorites:

Snack: Anything with Peanut Butter 🥜
Drink: Dr Pepper Color: Purple 💜
Dish on the Life Care Menu: Fudge Rounds or Oatmeal Cream Pies from the snack cart 😋
Life Care Shenanigan: All the fun activities residents partake in such as the Olympic Games. Jamie's favorite part of her work day is seeing a resident smile when stopping to engage in conversations 🤗.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff and their three children: Jaelynn, Jaxon, and Jessa. She also loves to garden, go on walks with her family, and chauffeur her 3 children around. Thank you, Jamie, for all you do! You are an amazing part of our team, and we are lucky to have you! 🫶

We attended Life Care Centers of America's company meeting on Wednesday, and we are so excited to share that we won the most awards in our region! 🎉 Life Care Center of Seneca received Best AR Days in 2025, Lowest Bad Debt, and #2 in the ENTIRE company for Social Media Engagement! 🥳👏

Thank you to our departments that work so hard to make sure we keep everything moving as smoothly and efficiently as possible, and thank you to our community for always engaging with our posts. 📱 You are all incredible! ❤️

National Skilled Nursing Care Week ended with some fun games, snacks, appreciation gifts, and — of course — Life Care shenanigans! 😆❤️ We can't thank all of our families enough for allowing us to care for your loves ones and enjoy time with them every day! Glow Bingo! 🩷💛💚

Wednesday, our theme was Dress as the Generation you Bloomed, as well GLOW BINGO!!!! 🌸

HUGE thank you to our friend Janet, the volunteers from St. Bedes Altar Society, and the Axtell KAYS for making this event such a huge success! We had so much fun! Prizes, snacks, music, and lots of laughs! 😂

Introducing our friend Ty! He is an amazing young man that was kind enough to come in and tell us all about Ham radio. 📻 What is Ham radio, you may ask? It's amateur radio! He shared many interesting facts, including how it works and how he got started with it. Thank you to Ty and his mom, Mary, for spending time with us and explaining such an interesting hobby. ❤️

We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! 🩷 Here are a few snaps of some of the wonderful mothers in our community with a small token of our love and appreciation. We care deeply for each and every one of them and are so glad they chose to call Life Care Center of Seneca home! As the author Lance Conrad once wrote "I can imagine no heroism greater than motherhood." 🌸
