SENOIA, Ga. โ The Senoia Area Historical Society (SAHS) is excited to announce the return of the 4th Annual Hot Rods for History, Coweta County's favorite spring car show. The event will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the scenic Marimac Lakes in Senoia, with a rain date of Sunday, May 17.
Over 250 collector and performance cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display at the beautiful lakeside venue, located behind the City of Senoia Library at 168 Pylant Street. Spectators are welcome from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM โ with no admission charge.
All proceeds benefit the Senoia Area Historical Society and its mission to collect and preserve the history of Senoia and the surrounding area.
Unlike many traditional car shows, Hot Rods for History places no restrictions on vehicle age. All makes and models โ cars, trucks and motorcycles โ are welcome to participate.
"We named the event 'Hot Rods for History,' but all vehicles are welcome," said SAHS President and event organizer Steve Maloy. "Senoia is such a great scene for classic cars. There is a huge interest from both the car owners and the community."
Maloy is also optimistic about this year's turnout after last year's event was hampered by poor weather. "Last year's bad weather put a damper on things, but we are hoping for the best this year โ and just in case, we added a rain date for Sunday the 17th."
Trophies will be awarded, and food, beer and beverage trucks will be on-site for purchase throughout the day.
