Sherwood is getting a fresh new look!

We’re so excited to share the updates happening throughout our community. Over the past year, we’ve been thoughtfully refreshing resident rooms, creating brighter, more comfortable spaces to call home.

Now, with spring in full swing, the transformation is moving into our hallways! Our first hallway is nearly complete, and soon, we’ll be adding new furniture and artwork to bring everything together.

There’s even more to look forward to…including a brand-new movie theater for our residents!

In the meantime, our residents are loving the excitement. They are enjoying watching the progress and chatting with the crews.

Come see it for yourself! We invite you to tour our community and discover our special “Excuse Our Dust” promotion while improvements are underway.

We have an exciting activity planned for our residents at Sherwood today.

As part of our "Hero Series", we will have the local fire department visiting to show our residents vintage and modern fire trucks, share about their jobs, and answer questions. They may turn on their sirens or demonstrate other features of their trucks.

We were inspired by a recent fashion show, where models of all ages and abilities confidently walked the runway in fashionable adult diapers all to challenge the stigma surrounding incontinence.

Whether temporary or long-term, incontinence affects people of many ages, and it shouldn’t be a source of shame. This show is a bold reminder that dignity, confidence, and style are for everyone regardless of age, ability, or diagnosis.

You can live well, be confident, and feel good in your own skin, and sometimes, that starts by normalizing what others are afraid to talk about.
