We can help you by providing Comprehensive Eye Health and Vision Examinations, Vision Therapy, Low Vision Aids, Contact Lenses and Children's Vision Exams. Optometric physicians, or optometrists, are trained not only to test their patient's seeing ability and prescribe

contacts and glasses, but also to detect, manage and treat diseases of the visual system such as glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. Undiagnosed visions problems will make going back to school for many Washington children a daunting task. These problems make learning frustrating and difficult for kids, and increased computer use at school is exacerbating the situation. The good news is, children whose vision problems are detected early through an annual eye exam by an optometric physician can be treated. A comprehensive eye exam is the best school supply parents can provide their children. The aging baby boomer population is, unfortunately, subject to the normal progression of disorders such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism - and will be looking for new, comfortable, and effective ways to correct vision for their active lifestyles. Many eye diseases - like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and cataracts - tend to discriminate against specific age groups, ethnic backgrounds, and health/family histories. Senior citizens are in need of avenues for maintaining healthy, clear vision to continue to enjoy life, be independent and stay active.
