Winter Solstice Qi Gong: A Dip into Darkness
Thursday December 21, 430-600 Blue Mountain Yoga+
Friends, gather 'round the embers of the year's shortest day. As the sun sets early and frost paints the world silver, we stand at the precipice of the Winter Solstice. A time of stillness, a pause before the dance of light resumes.
This Thursday, I invite you to join me at Blue Mountain Yoga+ for a special Qi Gong immersion, a movement and meditation journey into the heart of winter. No fancy footwork, no mantras you can't pronounce – just your body, your breath, and the quiet magic of the season.
Forget the calendars, the deadlines, the relentless chatter of the "should-be's." Winter is about turning inward, embracing the Yin. It's the season of water, of introspection, of letting go. Like a seed snuggled in the earth, waiting for spring, we can use this darkness to brew our own transformation.
So, slow down, friends. Let the world sleep. Rise with the dawn, but go to bed with the stars. Embrace the quiet, the introspection, the chance to simply be. This is the time to reconnect with your Lower Dantian, that wellspring of inner peace nestled deep within.
And on Thursday, December 21st, at 4:30 PM, we'll gather at Blue Mountain Yoga+. We'll move, we'll breathe, we'll tap into the magic of the Solstice together. It's a chance to celebrate the darkness, to honor the pause, to awaken the spark that will soon ignite the new year.
