💗 SHELLI STRONG | Breast Cancer Benefit Event for Rachelle Rawson
📅 Tuesday, October 28th
🕙 10 AM – 7 PM
📍 Permanent Cosmetics: 310 1st St, Sergeant Bluff, IA

We are coming together as a community to stand with Rachelle Rawson in her fight against stage four metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer.

✨ All proceeds from the day will go directly to Shelli and her family to support her ongoing treatments and upcoming proton therapy at Mayo Clinic.

There will be:
• 💕 Limited permanent cosmetic appointment availability: every service helps raise funds.
• 🎀 Bracelets available by free will donation for anyone who wants to support, even if they can’t book an appointment.
• 🧁 Snacks, drinks, and community love all day long.

Shelli is a wife, a mama of six, and a woman of deep faith who has faced cancer before with incredible strength. Even through chemo, radiation, and 14 surgeries, she made sure her kids remembered “adventure days”; not sickness. Now, as she faces this battle again, we have the chance to remind her she’s not walking it alone.

SBL Families:

We are excited to share that this year, every student in grades preschool- 5th grade will receive a Warrior Nation T-shirt—a gift made possible by the generosity of 18 local businesses and organizations who came together to support our students and strengthen our community spirit.

Leading off our fundraising drive was a generous donation made by the SBL Schools Foundation, without their involvement this project wouldn’t have been such a success.

Thank you also goes out to these generous businesses and individuals who also wanted to support this project. Pub 52, Ductz of Siouxland, Pioneer Auto, KARS Detailing, Central Bank, Dream Vacations - Amanda B, Indulge Bakery, Permanent Cosmetics, Farm Bureau- Tyler Meekma, Be Well Chiropractic, Laura Johnson Photography, Hawks Coffee Shop, Smalltown Girl Boutique, Knoepfler Chevrolet, SBL Nutrition, Bev Towne, and Simple Spaces by Carly.

We also would like to thank Ashley Hansen and Tammy Matthey of Smalltown Girl Boutique, for taking on our project and helping us make this such a huge success!

Each student will receive their shirt at Back to School Night to take home. We encourage you to remind your students to wear their shirts proudly on Warrior Fridays to show school pride and unity.

This program is about more than just a shirt—it’s about fostering a sense of belonging, celebrating our community, and letting our students know that our local businesses believe in them!
