Local friends, my colleague and co-lead in teacher training has a few spots in her program with child and caregiver. Amazing opportunity and I highly recommend making the drive.
Heather is a leader in nature based programming and training in Maryland and beyond.
Frolic’s friends would totally love her, and she uses and inspires some of my GuideNotes™️ songs.

RHYTHM OF THE DAY (DAILY SCHEDULE) We value spontaneity in activity and take advantage of the “teachable moment.” We also know young children benefit from knowing what will happen next. While the location of these events may vary, we will maintain a regular pattern of activities from day to day. Some days may look different than others but every day will be meaningful and a wonder!
Good Day to You and Inspired Play 9:00-9:45 am
Story/Song, and Snack 10:00 am
BYOS (bring your own snack) and enjoy conversation with our new friends. Afterwards, we will dive deep into beautiful books, fingerplays, and songs together.
Nature Noticing, Wild Wandering, and Guided Gardening 10:15-10:45
Children connect with their parents and guide in inspired activities or go off with your child and explore the nature trails and gardens. Children have uninterrupted time to choose an activity among the different areas of the outdoor classroom. This allows children to lengthen attention spans and to develop competency.
Clean Up Where You Are 10:45 Caregivers, children, and teacher put away materials used.
