Residents took a walk on the wild side today for Day 3 of National Assisted Living Week! Echoes of Nature stopped by with some sweet animal friends including a painted turtle, an Eastern king snake, a rabbit, and a tarantula! (And one surprise “wild Frenchie” snuck into the mix for a photo op.) The residents had a blast learning about the animals and soaking up the adventure! 🐇🐢🐍

Day Two of National Assisted Living Week: A Ride to Remember!
Our residents had the time of their lives on the Trishaw Bikes along the beautiful B & A Trail. The weather couldn’t have been better, and at the end of the trail we stopped for a sweet treat, snowballs for everyone!
A huge thank you to Rachelle and Ed from BAYADA Home Health Care for assisting residents on and off the bike safely, and to Sandy and her crew from Cycling Without Age for giving our residents this amazing experience.
They can’t stop talking about it, and we can’t wait for our next ride! 🚲 ❤️

Today, our Spring Arbor bus had a blast rolling through the Severna Park Fourth of July Parade! Back at home, Kenny J. and his saxophone got our residents rockin’, and George, our Food Service Director, grilled up a feast that had everyone coming back for more!

We celebrated 10 years of Spring Arbor Severna Park — and what a perfect celebration to add to our Cottage Week!! Residents and families were all smiles, enjoying live music, great food, and just being together. The spotlight was also on Mr. Roy, our very first resident, who proudly wore his ‘10-year legend’ sash!

Big thanks to our dining team for the delicious spread, our amazing activity department and the rest of the team for helping bring it all to life — and to our fabulous BAYADA Home Health Care team for manning the bar!

Most of all, thank you to our residents and their families — the heart of everything we do. Here’s to the past 10 years and the memories still to come! 🥂🎉
