Our mission is to provide quality healthcare for the medically uninsured who live or work in Sevier County. The Clinic was founded to reflect the life and Biblical teachings of Jesus Christ. The providers at Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic treat patients in need of primary medical care, dental care and behavioral care. Another vitally important service provided by Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic is the medication assistance program, providing access to affordable medications for chronic diseases. Patients are charged based on a sliding fee using the Federal Poverty Level for services provided and no one is refused care if unable to pay.

🌄 COMING SOON: NEW MOUNTAIN HOPE CLINIC ON WINFIELD DUNN PARKWAY

Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic is excited to announce that by the end of this year, we plan to open a new location on Winfield Dunn Parkway to expand access to primary care and behavioral health services for uninsured residents who live or work in Sevier County.

This new location will allow us to free up space at our Prince Street clinic, making it possible to:
✅ Expand adult dental services not currently offered
✅ Add dental services for uninsured children in Sevier County for the first time

🗣 Our Board President, Carol Agee, shared the importance of this expansion in meeting the growing healthcare needs of our community and ensuring no child or adult goes without essential care.

🤝 We are incredibly grateful to Food City for their generous $25,000 contribution toward this project and to everyone who joined us for the check presentation to celebrate this important step forward.

WELCOME MERIAH! 💙

Please help us welcome Meriah Hawkinson, PA-C, one of our newest Physician Assistants at Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic!

Originally from Joshua Tree, California, Meriah made Tennessee her home in 2023 and says she loves the greenery all around her. Before becoming a PA, she practiced as a licensed massage therapist, showing her servant heart and desire to help and heal others even before she changed careers.

What drew Meriah to Mountain Hope is deeply personal. She was once a patient at a charitable clinic when she was uninsured, and now she gets to give back in the same way she was helped. That makes her truly happy.

When she’s not caring for patients, Meriah enjoys cooking, hiking, working out and spending time with her dogs. 🐾

We’re so thankful to have her on the team! 💚
