HOPS Therapys Services provides Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Certified Hand Therapy and Neurological Rehabilitation for common diagnoses including: Sports and Work Injuries, Joint Replacement, Sciatica, Rotator Cuff Injuries, Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel, Tendonitis (i.e. How Does Therapy Work? An evaluation is completed to assess your problems and develop a plan to meet your goals. Next, treatment is performed individually that inlcudes hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercise and education. Finally, discharge occurs when your goals are met. Again, I was alarmed at one of our clients comparing out-of-pocket costs when receiving care from a hospital based therapy office and a private practice therapy clinic. Yes, private practice therapy is often more cost-effective than hospital-based therapy due to hospitals negotiating higher reimbursement rates from insurance companies, which translates to higher costs for you the patients! Please pay attention to your explanation of benefits/bills. Bottom line, please think about your local private practice PT and Hand Therapy Clinics when receiving outpatient therapy services because you will receive great care and save money in the end. Win...win!
