As of right now Sewanee Pediatrics will open at 10 am on Monday, January 26, 2026. I will post an update if anything changes. We hope everyone is staying safe and warm!

Another winter weather update!

All diagnostic imaging and outpatient surgery is now cancelled at Highpoint Health - Sumner for Monday, Jan. 26.

🏥 Emergency services remain open 24/7, inpatient care will continue without interruption, and essential hospital operations will remain in place to support patient care.

We'll keep sharing the latest changes on our social media and on our website. We encourage you to check back frequently if you have services scheduled with us this week.

**IMPORTANT MESSAGE**

Starting October 16, 2025 Highpoint Health medical offices and hospital will no longer be taking Cigna Healthcare. Cigna healthcare has terminated its contract. Families with any questions should call Cigna and ask them to protect their in-network access to care by working with Highpoint Health- Wi******er/Sewanee
Cigna will be sending out letters starting today to the families with the insurance.

We have been informed that a Google search for Sewanee Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine indicates a permanent closure, but we assure you that we are indeed operational under the new name, Highpoint Pediatrics Sewanee.

Call the office to schedule your child for their yearly WCC and vaccines (if they are due for any)
If your child is going into kindergarten or 7th grade then they will need a school immunization form
