**IMPORTANT MESSAGE**

Starting October 16, 2025 Highpoint Health medical offices and hospital will no longer be taking Cigna Healthcare. Cigna healthcare has terminated its contract. Families with any questions should call Cigna and ask them to protect their in-network access to care by working with Highpoint Health- Winchester/Sewanee
Cigna will be sending out letters starting today to the families with the insurance.

We will be closing the office for the week due to sickness. If you have a scheduled appointment this week you will be getting a call to reschedule

We have been informed that a Google search for Sewanee Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine indicates a permanent closure, but we assure you that we are indeed operational under the new name, Highpoint Pediatrics Sewanee.

Call the office to schedule your child for their yearly WCC and vaccines (if they are due for any)
If your child is going into kindergarten or 7th grade then they will need a school immunization form

Update: We now have phones and internet

Our phones and internet are down but we are open

If your child is needing a sports physical and attend a Grundy County school we will be at the high school today from 1-4:30.

06/02/2025

We will be closing at 12pm on 6/3/25 for the clinical staff to travel to Grundy County High School to participate in the sports physicals.

The front office will be available by phone until 4 pm.

We recommend that you schedule a well-child check-up for your child if they are due for one. Completing these visits over the summer will help ensure a smooth transition into the next school year. We can administer sports physicals in addition to yearly physicals.
